Private Label Candles from Vietnam: OEM, Custom Scent & Packaging Guide 2026

Viet Nam Candles

What Private Label Candles from Vietnam Include

Private label candle production means the factory produces candles under your brand name rather than its own. Vietnamese factories offer four customization levels: (1) Standard catalog candle with your label applied — lowest cost, fastest production. (2) Custom wax color and/or custom fragrance on existing container — medium cost, 14–21 day sample lead time. (3) Custom container shape with your design — higher investment, custom mold cost. (4) Fully custom gift set packaging — your branded box, ribbon, and tissue around factory-produced candles.

Custom Fragrance Options

Factory fragrance libraries typically contain 50–200 standard scents covering floral, woody, fresh, gourmand, and seasonal categories. Buyers can select from the library or supply their own fragrance oil. Custom fragrance blend development takes 2–4 sample rounds (14–28 days total). IFRA compliance certificates and fragrance SDS sheets are required for EU and US retail and are provided as standard for all OEM fragrance orders.

Custom Wax Colors

Candle wax can be custom colored using liquid candle dyes with approximate Pantone matching. Available for pillar, jar, votive, and taper candle types. Minimum per color: 500 units per SKU for solid colors, 300 units for natural/unscented styles. Note: soy wax does not hold colors as vividly as paraffin — confirm color expectations with factory samples before bulk production approval.

OEM Packaging Options

Packaging options: kraft paper lid box with custom print, two-piece rigid gift box with foam insert, custom outer carton with your brand logo, or hanging retail header card for individual polybag candles. Custom printed packaging adds $0.20–$0.80/unit to FOB cost depending on box type and print complexity. Minimum run for custom printed packaging: 500 units. Lead time for custom packaging development: 7–14 days for samples.

Private Label Timeline from Brief to Shipment
